Ikea Opens Charlotte Location

Charlotte, N.C. Ikea opened a 365,000-sq.-ft. store in Charlotte, N.C. on Wednesday, attracting large crowds to its first location in the Carolinas. It is Ikea’s 36th location in the United States.

The company said it expects the brand to fare well amid the struggling economy, as shoppers continually focus on value.
