IKEA to Build DC in Georgia

Savannah, Ga., Home-furnishings giant IKEA intends to boost its logistics infrastructure with a 1.7 million-sq.-ft. distribution center at the Savannah River International Trade Park in Georgia. The facility, which will occupy 115 acres, will receive goods at the Port of Savannah and distribute them primarily throughout the Southeast.
