Iconix to re-launch Starter, Danskin at Wal-Mart

NEW YORK Iconix Brand Group announced that it will re-launch its Starter and Danskin Now brands at Wal-Mart Stores next year as part of new direct-to-retail license agreements with the retailer.

Starter will re-launch at Wal-Mart in the spring of 2009 with a national campaign featuring a high profile athlete, Iconix reported. Danskin will re-launch in January with a program surrounding January Fitness Month. 

Neil Cole, chairman and ceo of Iconix stated, "We are pleased about these new license agreements as they position Starter and Danskin Now for long-term growth and align them with the successful business model that we have created with our OP brand at Wal-Mart."
