Hot Topic same-store sales fall in Sept.

San Francisco Hot Topic said Wednesday that its September same-store sales declined 4%.

Analysts expected same-store sales to fall 6.3%, according to Thomson Reuters.

Total sales for the five weeks ended Oct. 3 fell 2.5% to $59.3 million.
