Hot Topic same-store sales drop 7.5% in March

City of Industry, Calif. Hot Topic reported on Wednesday that total net sales were $69.5 million in March, down 6.6% from the same period the year before.

Sales at its namesake Hot Top brand were $49.4 million, down 11% from the same period last year, while Torrid reported sales of $16.5 million, up 9.0% from last year.

The company also reported that same-store sales dropped 7.5% in March.
