As a result of its definitive agreement to acquire CytoSport Holdings, maker of Muscle Milk products, Hormel Foods has promoted three of its executives to leadership roles with CytoSport, based in Benicia, California.

Greg N. Longstreet, president of Farmer John, in Vernon, California, has been appointed CEO of CytoSport. Longstreet began his career in 1992 as a sales representative in grocery products in the District of Columbia. After holding several sales and marketing roles within the organization and a few years away from the company, he rejoined in 2006 and assumed his role as president of Farmer John in 2007.

Tom J. Miskowski, president of Century Foods International (CFI), in Sparta, Wisconsin, has been appointed COO of CytoSport and will maintain his responsibilities as president of CFI. Miskowski began his career with Hormel Foods in 2000 as senior financial officer at Century Foods International, coming to the company with an extensive accounting background. In 2002, he assumed his role as president of CFI.

Steven E. Orcutt, director and business unit controller of grocery products and consumer product sales, in Austin, Minnesota, has been tapped as CFO of CytoSport. Orcutt began his career in 1984 as an accountant at the Austin plant. He held several accounting and management positions within the company before he assumed his role as director and business unit controller of grocery products and consumer products sales in 2013.

“Congratulations to Greg, Tom and Steve on their advancements,” said Donald H. Kremin, group VP of Specialty Foods. “We look forward to their continued leadership in this exciting new part of the business.”
