Home Depot opens DC in Ga.

Atlanta The Home Depot opened a 657,000-sq.-ft. rapid deployment center in Lowndes County, Ga.

The facility will create several hundred jobs in office and warehouse positions over the next few years. The distribution center is on 89 acres and will serve about 150 Home Depot retail stores throughout the Southeast.

This site is part of a larger program to transform Home Depot’s supply chain.
