Home Depot to cut human resource jobs
ATLANTA According to reports, Home Depot is planning to reduce its human resource functions. The company will cut human resource manager posts at its 1,970 U.S. stores and instead form more than 200 district-based teams to handle those functions. The new human resource structure will include about 1,000 jobs.
The savings resulting from the cuts would go toward store positions that work with customers. According to reports this would add more hours to the floor.
