Home Depot completes HD Supply sale

ATLANTA The Home Depot announced today that it has completed the sale of HD Supply for the reduced price of $8.5 billion to a group of private equity firms. The company also announced, as previously reported that it would own a 12.5% equity interest for $325 million.

When Home Depot first announced the sale of its HD Supply business, the original purchase price was about $10.3 billion.
