H&M’s April sales rebound

Stockholm, Sweden Fashion chain Hennes & Mauritz said Friday that its April same-store sales increased 8%. Besides edging out analysts’ expectations, this is the retailer’s first sales jump since July 2008.

The chain also said that net sales rose 19%. To date, H&M operates approximately 1,700 stores in 34 markets.
