Liebeskind Berlin, a trendy leather accessories and fashion brand from Germany, has opened a second location in the United States.

The store, at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead, New York, was built by Stalco Construction and reflects Liebeskind’s signature industrial chic esthetic. Designed by the brand’s in-house architectural team in Germany, with support from architect of record L2 Studios, the 2,000-sq.-ft. interior features exposed ceilings, manufactured wood plank flooring, and concrete-finish and metal display fixtures.

“The $340,000 project was delivered three days ahead of a very challenging schedule of four weeks, including demolition,” said Edward Dutton, project manager, Stalco Construction, Islandia New York. “This required strictly enforcing construction schedule milestones with all subcontractors and early pre-purchasing of all long-lead items, such as display fixtures and lighting equipment.”

The construction team also designed and installed a new sprinkler system and engineered a track lighting system that incorporates LED linear lighting fixtures imported from Germany (MYLIGHT Lichtkonzepte 3100K) and Juno tracks (Trac-Master.). The store’s lighting also includes 3500K Conix II LED fixtures and 3500K Real6 LED downlight fixtures by Reality Commercial.

Other store features include charcoal-black painted ceiling and building systems, white-painted gypsum board walls, an LED-lit logo signage mounted on a distressed wood section of the wall behind a cash-wrap.
