Hillwood and The Howard Hughes Corporation have unveiled plans for a 130-acre, mixed-use development at Circle T Ranch, a master-planned community north of Dallas-Fort Worth. Circle T resides within AllianceTexas, an 18,000-acre tract that has brought 425 companies, 45,000 jobs, and the world’s first industrial airport to the town of Westlake.
Envisioned for the Hillwood-Howard Hughes joint project is 1.2 million sq. ft. of office space with adjoining retail and entertainment centers, plus residential living and a 200-room hotel. Anchoring the development will be the new 500,000-sq.-ft. corporate campus of the Charles Schwab Corporation.
The partners intend to draw retail and entertainment brands to Circle T Ranch not currently available in the area. Also on the boards are parks, open spaces, creeks, and nature trails.
“It will be a catalytic addition to the thriving Westlake community,” said Howard Hughes president Grant Herlitz.
