Hhgregg sales focus on First Ladies

Hhgregg is taking a different approach to President’s Day promotions this year by focusing on the ladies –- the First Ladies, that is.

These women have made some great contributions to our country, leading programs around healthy eating, literacy, energy efficiency and more, so we decided it was time to celebrate all they have done,” said Julie Lyle, CMO of hhgregg. “Beginning now through President’s Day weekend, hhgregg will offer incredible deals inspired by these great women, on items such as wearable fitness devices, state-of-the-art tablets, energy-efficient appliances and stylish home furnishings.”


According to an hhgregg-commissioned survey of 1,000 consumers across the U.S., 52% of Millennials believe there should be a holiday celebrating America’s First Ladies, and nearly the same percentage (50%) have been inspired to take action in their own lives based on a First Lady’s initiative. With this in mind, Hhgregg is tying its holiday promotions to the First Ladies. Some of HHgregg’s First Lady inspired deals available during hhgregg’s President’s Day Sale include iPads, appliances, fitness equipment and more.


The survey also uncovered that more than half of Americans plan to make home improvements this year with the kitchen being the number one room in the house that consumers are most looking forward to making over, followed by bedrooms and bathrooms. With this in mind, hhgregg is offering up to 30 percent off major appliances, TVs, bedding and furniture both online and in-store now through Feb. 21.


Consumers can enjoy hhgregg’s special 24-month financing on purchases of $497 and up, plus an extra 5% off major appliance purchases of $497 and up when purchased with an hhgregg card now through Feb. 21.


Hhgregg has 228 brick-and-mortar stores in 20 states.
