Hhgregg expands in Philadelphia area

Indianapolis Hhgregg is expanding operations in the mid-Atlantic region. The appliance and electronics retailer announced that it is opening its first stores in the state of Delaware and New Jersey, along with six other stores in the state of Pennsylvania on Thursday.

“We are excited to expand our footprint into the Philadelphia and Greater Delaware Valley area,” said Jeff Pearson, VP marketing for Hhgregg.

Over 600 employees have been hired to staff the roughly 30,000-sq.-ft. stores. All employees undergo a comprehensive training program and receive more than 200 hours of product training each year.
