Henkel taps Datalliance for expanding VMI program

8/1/2013

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Henkel Consumer Goods Inc., a provider of leading consumer brands such as Dial, Purex, Soft Scrub and Right Guard, plans to leverage Datalliance VMI’s platform for its expanding consumer goods Vendor Managed Inventory program.

"We see VMI as an important aspect of our relationship with major customers," said Tracee Abu, Henkel customer supply chain manager. "Because of that, we decided to transition to a new platform that would enable us to sustain and expand our VMI program. After looking at a number of vendors, we selected Datalliance because of their track record of ongoing VMI innovation and excellent customer service. A number of consumer goods suppliers use their VMI system so most of our retail partners will be familiar with the platform. In addition to supporting our existing VMI customers, Datalliance will give us the added flexibility to expand our program to more customers over time."

"We are excited to have Henkel as a member of our growing CPG community. The Henkel team has already developed a very successful VMI program and we look forward to working with them to help take it to the next level," added Scott Kleinert, Datalliance director, consumer packaged goods.

Henkel operates worldwide with leading brands and technologies in three business areas: laundry and home care, beauty care and adhesive technologies. Headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany, Henkel employs about 47,000 people worldwide.
