Hemler to head Best Buy for Business
MINNEAPOLIS Best Buy Co. has promoted David Hemler to the created position of president, Best Buy for Business. In his new role, Hemler will lead the development and execution of strategies for delivering technology solutions to business, education and government customers. Hemler will report to Darren Jackson, evp and cfo for Best Buy.

Hemler joined Best Buy in 2006 as vp of sales and operations, overseeing sales strategy and execution of retail and field channels for Best Buy for Business. Prior to joining Best Buy, he spent 11 years at Microsoft, including roles as a regional vp of the small midmarket solutions and partner group and president of Microsoft Canada. Before joining Microsoft, Hemler spent several years with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), specializing in retail and distribution systems.
