HD Supply names new cfo

ATLANTA HD Supply, the former wholesale construction distribution unit of The Home Depot, today announced that Mark Jamieson has been appointed senior vp and cfo.

"Mark Jamieson has an impressive record of achievement and leadership spanning over three decades at several highly respected companies," said Joe DeAngelo, ceo of HD Supply. "He possesses the leadership skills, the vision and the expertise to manage our finance function, and together with the rest of our leadership team, will guide our company successfully through the next phase of our growth and development."

Jamieson most recently worked at Ryder Systems, a $6 billion global transportation and supply chain management solutions company, where he served as evp and cfo since 2006. Prior to that, he worked at Sammons Enterprises, a diversified holding company with interests in insurance, heavy equipment and real estate, as cfo. He spent 29 years of his career at General Electric, where he held numerous financial leadership roles, most recently as president and ceo of GE Insurance.
