Hallmark extends its cyber reach
IRVINE, Calif. — Greeting card manufacturer Hallmark has extended its contract with iPass, a high-speed wide area networking platform and Wi-Fi service provider.
Hallmark has used iPass to provide managed network services to more than 2,100 corporate and independent retail locations for the last seven years. The new five-year contract will enhance Hallmark’s networking capabilities, allowing it to add new managed services that will allow the card manufacturer to further its expansion into the digital market.
iPass provides secure data communications for the Hallmark retail network that includes turnkey cloud-based PCI scanning services, high speed broadband, a fully managed IP VPN network and consolidated billing to meet the requirements for its entire store network. Hallmark is leveraging the iPass solution to provide real-time network monitoring, improved application performance and bank-required internal and external PCI scanning and reporting for each of its corporate-owned and independent retail locations.
"iPass Managed Network Services has been a long-term proven Hallmark partner for several years and we are pleased to know that the relationship will extend another five years. Their team continues to offer new and valuable networking services to help our business evolve. For example, affordable cloud-based PCI scanning services provide tremendous value to our store network, making them a great partner for us today and in the future. What sets the iPass team apart from their competitors is their consultative approach and willingness to adapt to our needs," said Talli Denney, retail technology director, Hallmark.
"Our team is extremely proud of the long-standing partnership with Hallmark. The retail network solution we have designed, deployed and manage for Hallmark is the result of a deep understanding of their business environment and technical requirements. Like Hallmark, many of our customers are looking for ways to evolve their networks and accommodate the changing demands of today's business: demands for higher bandwidth, improved security, better network performance, integrated mobility and managed Wi-Fi. We look forward to our continued relationship with Hallmark, evolving to meet their networking needs, and helping them succeed with their business goals," said Chris Linden, VP and GM, iPass Managed Network Services.
