Hallmark exec Jimenez named SVP at Williams-Sonoma
David Jimenez was named SVP of visual and store experience at Williams-Sonoma to drive further growth and innovation at the operator of 587 upscale home goods stores.
In addition to the appointment of Jimenez, the company named three other executives to new leadership roles in the supply chain area.
"As we continue to drive performance for the company’s portfolio of multi-channel brands, our strong emphasis and commitment to top executive talent within our namesake and core brands is fundamental to our position as a category leader," said Williams-Sonoma president and CEO Laura Alber.
Jimenez previously served as vp of visual merchandising and store design at Hallmark where he supported the company’s store evolution efforts and helped it improve performance through heightened customer engagement. Prior to Hallmark, Jimenez was with Gap Inc., Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn.

In other moves, Peter Sassi was named SVP of stores for the Williams-Sonoma brand. In his new role Sassi will continue to bring strategic insights and deepen customer relationships and evolve the in-store experience. For the past 10 years, Sassi has served as SVP of inventory management for the Williams-Sonoma brand
Jeff Howie will now serve as the SVP of inventory management and finance for the Williams-Sonoma brand. He has more than 10 years of experience with the company as a strategic and detail-oriented leader, most recently serving as SVP of inventory management for the Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen brands.
John Trifoso is expanding his current role as SVP of Pottery Barn inventory management, to lead the inventory management teams for the Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen brands.
