H-E-B to test wind energy
SAN ANTONIO Starting next month, H.E. Butt Grocery and Wind Energy will team up to study the potential of wind power in a commercial setting, according to reports. Wind Energy will install a wind turbine at H-E-B's Waslaco Retail Support Center and will collect data on wind power over the next 18 to 24 months.
The research at the H-E-B site will allow Wind Energy to determine the amount of electricity the system will provide and research areas for future distribution, according to reports.
Wind Energy is a Kentucky based company that designs its own vertical axis turbine and works with companies to achieve sustainable power.
