H-E-B to Build New DC

Dallas Supermarket operator H-E-B has purchased more than 160 acres in Temple, Texas, to build a 400,000-sq.-ft. distribution center.

When completed, the facility is expected to employ more than 100 workers and serve more than 50 H-E-B stores in a region stretching from Dallas to Austin. The company operates more than 300 stores in Texas and Mexico, and employs more than 70,000 workers.
