Gymboree selects Hybris to enhance omnichannel shopping experience across brands

4/5/2012

New York -- Hybris announced that The Gymboree Corp. has selected the hybris platform to enhance its e-commerce efforts and provide a cohesive omnichannel shopping experience across its three brands, Gymboree, Crazy 8, and Janie and Jack.

“We selected hybris based on the breadth and agility of its solution, the company’s alignment with our multichannel vision, and its demonstrated ability to be rapidly implemented. We have very ambitious goals and are confident that hybris will enable us to meet them,” said David Strobelt, VP IT and logistics, The Gymboree Corp.

In its selection process, Gymboree assumed the torrid pace of change in multichannel would continue for many years going forward.

“We sought a framework upon which we could adapt and compete in fast changing conditions,” Strobelt said. “Out of all the commerce platforms we looked at, we felt hybris’ solution offered us the open architecture, scalability, TCO and agility to power a cross-channel shopping experience without introducing IT complexity into our organization.”

“We are thrilled to be working with such a well-respected retailer in the U.S. as Gymboree,” said Steven Kramer, North America president of hybris. “We look forward to helping Gymboree deliver a superior and enhanced shopping experience to its customers.”
