Gymboree 4Q Profit Up 10%

San Francisco Gymboree Corp. said Wednesday its fiscal fourth-quarter profit rose 10% as revenue climbed slightly above Wall Street's expectations.

For the quarter ended Feb, 2, the company earned $26.8 million up from a profit of $24.4 million in the same period a year ago.

Revenue rose 16% to $278.4 million from $241 million. Analysts were expecting sales of $277.9 million.

For the full year, Gymboree earned $80.3 million, up from a profit of $60.3 million a year earlier. Revenue rose 16%  to $920.8 million from $791.6 million.
