GTronix names new marketing vp

FREMONT, Calif. GTronix, a privately-held semiconductor company developing novel analog technology enabling ultra-low power consumption by consumer electronics products, has announced Jim Mravca, a 23-year industry veteran, as its new vp of marketing. Mravca will head GTronix's growing marketing organization and drive the company's adaptive analog technology, for applications including wired/wireless headsets, cell phones, PDAs, laptop computers and audio/video personal electronic devices, into key markets that will accelerate revenue growth.

Mravca will report to Hubert Engelbrechten, ceo and director of GTronix.

Mravca was previously serving as vp of marketing for Gain Spain, where he was responsible for establishing early market penetration for the company's wireless sensor products. Prior to GainSpan, he served as vp of marketing for Motia.
