Greenstar Rolls Out Commercial Single-Stream in Pa.

(Oct. 21) Greenstar North America is rolling out commercial single-stream services in Pennsylvania that will drive increased recovery of recyclables across the state. Commercial single-stream allows customers to mix all dry recyclables in one container, including corrugated boxes, office paper, newspapers, bottles and cans.

“Commercial single-stream services provide a much more convenient system for recovering recyclables at offices, malls, universities and similar locations,” said Steve Ragiel, CEO, Greenstar North America, Pittsburgh. “The convenience of commercial single-stream leads to significant increases in the recovery of valuable recyclables from the waste stream.”
