Grapes of Wrath: Kroger Faces Fine

Los Angeles, Kroger says its mislabeling of grapes was an honest mistake. But California regulators said the company’s Food 4 Less and Ralph’s divisions could face fines of up to $3,000 per bag of fruit sold. In the last two weeks, Mexican-grown grapes at both stores were incorrectly promoted as "California Grown" in store flyers. Kroger said the errors have been corrected.
