Gougelet to head Burnes Home Accents

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Industry veteran Jean-Rene Gougelet has been named president of Burnes Home Accents, LLC.

Gougelet will oversee sales, marketing, and operations for both the Burnes and Connoisseur brands - which serve the department/specialty store and mass-market channels of trade, respectively - and has full responsibility for profit building and return on assets. 

Prior to joining Burnes Home Accents, Gougelet was a strategy consultant with Vido Enterprises, providing strategic planning and growth management to middle-market companies.  From 2001 through 2005, he was ceo of Arc International's Mikasa division.  He also served as ceo of Arc North America from 1991 through 2001 and 2003 through 2005.
