PGA Tour Superstore opened its 26th store to date — and first store in Minnesota — on June 11.
Located in Minnetonka, in a previous Sports Authority location, the 41,000-sq.-ft. store has 12 interactive simulators, practice hitting bays, a large putting green measuring more than 1,500 sq. ft. and an in-house club-making and repair facility to provide an interactive experience to golf enthusiasts of all levels.
“The Twin Cities represents a premier market for our first store in Minnesota and we are excited to bring the best experiential destination in golf retail to Minnetonka,” said PGA Tour Superstore president and CEO Dick Sullivan. “With the amount of golf played in the area, and The Ryder Cup coming to the Twin Cities this fall, it’s a great time for us to open our first store here.”
PGA Tour Superstore is operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, a subsidiary of AMB Group. All stores are staffed with teaching professionals and have multiple state-of-the-art swing simulators, practice hitting bays, large putting greens, an in-house club making and repair facility in addition to equipment, accessories, and men’s, women’s and juniors’ golf apparel and footwear.
