Gilt Groupe promotes CFO to president
NEW YORK — Gilt Groupe has announced that Andrew Page has been promoted to the role of president from CFO, effective immediately. Page will report directly to Kevin Ryan, Founder and CEO. In his new position, Page will have operational responsibilities for Gilt's various business units, including Women's, Gilt MAN, Gilt Children, Gilt Home, Gilt Taste, Park & Bond, and Gilt City.
Page joined Gilt as CFO in April 2010. During his tenure as CFO, the company completed two acquisitions and a financing round, built a highly automated distribution facility, and enhanced overall operating efficiency.
"Andy has been doing a fantastic job leading the various businesses over the last five months as the acting President, in addition to his CFO responsibilities," said Ryan. "He has demonstrated the strategic and managerial skills to lead the company's operations going forward."
Prior to joining the company, Page was chief operating and financial officer of PlayPhone Inc., where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the company's operations across multiple countries. Before PlayPhone, he was the CFO and SVP business strategy at StubHub Inc., where he managed the company's financial operations, business strategy, financial reporting, administrative functions, and led the company's sale to eBay in 2007. Page has also held senior executive positions at Panasas Inc., ONI Systems Corp., and Robertson Stephens & Company. He is currently an advisor to several private e-commerce companies. Page holds an AB from Princeton University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
