Gilt Groupe names president of home business

NEW YORK — Gilt Groupe announced that it has named Jason Goldberger as general manager of Gilt Home. In this role, Goldberger will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the home business, including business strategy, merchandise and site development. Goldberger will report to Susan Lyne, chairman of Gilt Groupe.

Jason Goldberger comes to Gilt Home from Hayneedle, where he served as SVP merchandising and site. During his four-year tenure Goldberger played an instrumental role in the creation of the Hayneedle brand and grew the business significantly. Before joining Hayneedle, Goldberger spent eight years at Amazon where he served as general manager for two businesses.

"Jason is a recognized leader in the home space and brings with him a deep knowledge of the category and strong ecommerce experience," said Lyne. "We know he'll be a tremendous asset as we expand our home business."
