Giant to Offer Discount Drugs

Baltimore Giant Food will offer 350 generic drugs for $9.99 each at its pharmacies in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Washington, D.C., according to a report in the Baltimore Business Journal.

Giant is among the latest grocery chains offering the service to compete with retail rivals such as Wal-Mart Stores and Target Corp.
