Giant Food Stores names IT director

CARLISLE, Pa. Giant Food Stores has hired Charles Achuff as director of Information Technology. In his new role, Achuff will be responsible for vendor delivery and hardware infrastructure for Information Technology. He will report to Mary Jane Jamrogowicz, vp of information systems and technology.

Prior to joining Giant, Achuff worked for Intec Billing Inc., EUR Systems, Contel, ALLTEL Information Services, and Diamond Shamrock Corp.
