Get your beauty on at Sears

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. Sears announced it will debut beauty departments in 13 select retail mall locations in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.

According to the company, Sears will be the only mall-based department store to exclusively offer an assortment of mass, specialty and prestige beauty brands.

Under the guidance of consultative associates, Sears said, its Beauty department will offer an assortment of cosmetics, skin care, bath and body, natural and fragrance products. Customers will have the opportunity to purchase beauty products from such brands as L'Oreal, Maybelline, CoverGirl, Calvin Klein as well as the Yves Rocher, botanical products from France exclusively at Sears.

Grand opening celebrations are being held in each Sears Beauty location on Aug. 29 to 30 and Sept. 5 to 6 and will feature complimentary makeovers, sampling, gifts and a chance for customers to win gift baskets. To also celebrate the opening of the Sears beauty departments, the retailer is offering a free cosmetic bag and brush set with any $25 cosmetics, fragrance or bath purchase and a $10 Sears reward card with any $50 cosmetics, fragrance or bath purchase.
