Get well soon at Target

9/7/2010

MINNEAPOLIS Target opened eight new health care clinics yesterday including five Chicago area locations and three in South Florida, expanding its presence outside of the existing markets of Minnesota and Maryland. The openings give Target a total of 36 clinics in four states as previously the company operated 21 clinics in Minnesota and seven locations in Maryland. The clinics offer treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, skin treatments, vaccinations, and select tests and screenings. The new locations are open every day of the week, including both daytime and evening hours. Target opened its first clinic in 2006.

“Health and wellness is an important focus for Target, and we're thrilled to offer Target Clinic services to our guests in Chicago and the Palm Beach area,” said Keri Jones, a Target SVP merchandising. “We hope the new locations help our guests and their families reach their well-being goals with the same quality of service and value they expect from Target.”
