Genesco company acquires Great Plains Sports

Indianapolis Hat World, a subsidiary of Genesco, said Monday that its Impact Sports division has acquired Great Plains Sports of St. Paul, Minn.

Great Plains operates Steichen’s Sporting Goods in St. Paul.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Genesco, based in Nashville, operates under brands that include Journeys, Journeys Kidz, Johnston & Murphy, Hatworld and Lids.
