Gartner report ranks NCR global leader in retail infrastructure support

Duluth, Ga. A recent report from Gartner ranks NCR as the global leader in the hardware maintenance and support category in retail infrastructure support for 2006 through 2008 based on worldwide revenues. The research places NCR in the No. 1 slot in the retail trade segment.

In the study, “Market Share: Infrastructure Support, Worldwide Market Share: Database,” Gartner also reported that NCR ranked No. 7 worldwide in financial services infrastructure support, and No. 10 worldwide across all verticals in infrastructure support, for the same time period.
