Gainesville’s Butler North tops off with Total Wine

The Butler North component of Butler Enterprises’ massive retail complex in Gainesville, Florida, brings itself close to 100% occupancy with next week’s opening of Total Wine & More.



The 20,000-sq.-ft store is the latest in a series of new store openings at the center. Also debuting there over the past four months were Walmart Supercenter, Aldi, Marshalls, Payless Shoe Source, and Dollar Tree.



The 750,000-sq.ft. Butler North is the second of three “neighborhoods” planned for the 267-acre complex, along with Butler Plaza and Butler Town Center, a Main Street style collection of boutiques, restaurant, and residences set for a 2018 opening.



Total Wine & More has been recognized as a top retailer by Wine Enthusiast, Market Watch, and Beverage Dynamics. It will count 150 of these “superstores” in 21 states by year’s end.
