Paris - Nature & Découvertes, a French-based European retailer with 83 stores across France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany and Switzerland, has partnered with Ipanema Technologies as part of an enterprise-wide, 24-month digital transformation. With Ipanema’s help, the retailer successfully reduced application response time by 50%, and reduced network costs and OPEX costs by 50% and 10%, respectively.
Natures & Découvertes’ IT department needed to support the digital transformation of the company, whilst still protecting business-critical applications like SAP HANA, Microsoft Office 365, POS and a real-time BI tool. New innovations such as “store to Web” and “click and collect” were also putting additional pressure on the network and the IT department.
Natures & Découvertes chose to implement Ipanema’s network solution. The IT department can now detect network trouble before it impacts employees or customers in store and/or online, and allows them to concentrate on supporting sales objectives and maximizing the company’s productivity.

Network costs were also reduced by more than 50%, with OPEX costs reduced by 10%. As a result of this transformation, customer satisfaction improved from the previous year’s score of 6/10 (fair) to a score of 8.5/10 (very good).
