Fred Meyer implements EnQii media management

NEW YORK Fred Meyer has implemented EnQii's digital signage media management and media player technologies across its stores.

EnQii's media player, using its proprietary RemoteTransfer media management software, allows the content to be controlled and updated remotely. Content is being provided and managed by Retail Entertainment Design (RED), and consists of a library of music videos, movie & game trailers, HD travel and sports montages designed to engage the active shopper all while reinforcing the Fred Meyer brand messaging and merchandising strategies.

"EnQii technology delivered beyond expectations," said Dan Desmarais, PEM merchandising specialist of Fred Meyer. "Its ease of use made it possible to always have the right message in front of the shopper at the right time."

Following on the success of the Fred Meyer installation, Fry's (another Kroger store) has also installed at 14 locations, driving RED high-definition content across their in-store media walls.
