Former Walgreens exec to head marketing at OfficeMax
CHICAGO — OfficeMax has named Kim Feil as EVP and chief marketing and strategy officer, effective Nov. 12. Feil will report to Ravi Saligram, president and CEO of OfficeMax, and will have accountability for all aspects of marketing across the enterprise, with particular emphasis on brand management and evolution of the company's traditional marketing vehicles to new media including digital and social.

Most recently, Feil served as chief marketing officer and corporate VP for Walgreen Co. Prior to Walgreen Co., Feil held marketing and business leadership positions of increasing responsibility at companies that include PepsiCo, Cadbury Schweppes, Information Resources, Inc. and Sara Lee.
Feil earned a bachelor of arts degree in Journalism and English and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
