Former Sears ceo Brennan dead at 73
NEW YORK Edward Brennan, who served as chairman and ceo of Sears, Roebuck & Co. in the 1980s, died Thursday at the age of 73.
Brennan took the helm at Sears in 1986, leading the company during its strongest period, and retired in 1995. He began working at the company as salesman in Madison, Wis.
