Former Old Navy pres. joins Advent International

BOSTON Advent International, one of the world's leading global private equity firms, announced that former Old Navy president Jenny Ming has joined the firm as an operating partner to focus on investment opportunities in the apparel retail sector.

Ming served as president of Old Navy for more than seven years. In that role, she oversaw all aspects of the fashion retailer, managing a network of over 950 stores in North America. Prior to that, she served as evp of merchandising at Old Navy, responsible for store design, visual merchandising, planning and distribution.
