Former Linens ‘N Things exec joins Urban Brands

SECAUCUS, N.J. Urban Brands has named David Brown EVP human resources.

Brown joins Urban Brands from Linens 'N Things where he served as SVP human resources from 2006 to 2009.Brown began his career at Macy's and grew with the company to the position of SVP human resources and labor relations.

"David brings twenty-five years of rock-solid retail and human resource experience to our leadership team and we look forward to his guidance. This appointment completes our leadership team and positions Urban Brands for continued growth as we become urban America's largest women's plus size specialty retailer," said Laura Weil, CEO.
