6/19/2013

Greg Bailey was named director of business process and implementation at Enhanced Retail Solutions, a software and consulting firm focused on point of sale analytics and demand planning solutions for suppliers and retailers.

Bailey spent 21 year with J.C. Penney but left the company in 2012. During his career, Bailey has accumulated knowledge around retail operations, product development, textile design, sourcing and hone skills as a technologist, project manager and business process liaison. While at J.C. Penney, Bailey played a key role in a cycle-time reduction initiative and subsequent product lifecycle management program. He also led an initiative with ERS to build and implement a supplier planning and forecasting system for the company’s Strategic Sourcing division and continues to provide process and project management support to further enhance the software. After leaving J.C. Penney in 2012, Bailey spent several months as a contractor for Academy Sports & Outdoors, providing product development, sourcing process and product lifecycle management technology expertise.

"We worked closely with Greg during his tenure at JCPenney," said Jim Lewis, founder and CEO at ERS. "We have been impressed with his attention to detail and ability to drive successful implementations. Greg will be instrumental in helping us grow our traditional and custom software business.”

ERS is focused on serving retail and supplier clients in areas such as apparel, footwear, home textiles, toys, home décor, home improvement, electronics, consumer products, housewares and food.
