Former Home Depot exec named president of marketing solutions provider
NEW YORK Former Home Depot chief marketer John Ross has joined Mediabrands as president of Emerging Media Lab.
Ross will be charged with helping deliver new emerging technology solutions which can drive tangible results for brands at the retail level.

Ross joins Mediabrands from Home Depot and has more than 20 years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on retail. With 12 years with The Home Depot, he oversaw one of the largest expansions of any American brand. During his tenure, the company grew from a regional retailer to become one of the best know brands in all of retail and the second largest retailer in the United States. He oversaw the company's first foray into e-commerce, its international expansion, including entry into Mexico and China, and the growth of the home Depot incentives division.
