Former Home Depot exec joins Commerce

CHERRY HILL, N.J. Former Home Depot executive, Mark Olear has joined Commerce Bancorp Inc. as a senior vp and director of real estate development.

Prior to joining Commerce, Olear led the real estate team responsible for developing Home Depot's retail locations throughout the Eastern United States and the Caribbean.

"Mark's real estate development expertise with a successful national retailer will be a valuable asset as we move forward with the expansion of the Commerce store network," said Commerce Bank N.A. chairman Dennis DiFlorio. "His development experience with Home Depot is the ideal complement to our very talented real estate management team headed by Jon Sandeen, the former head of new store construction and design for Wal-Mart, who has been with us for the past 18 months."
