Former Giant Eagle exec joins USO

ARLINGTON, Va. Former Giant Eagle executive, Jack Flanagan has joined the United Service Organizations as senior vp for operations. He is responsible for developing and directing all USO operation functions for the active duty military worldwide. Flanagan also will create and implement new and existing USO programs and services.

Prior to joining the USO, Flanagan was the evp of retail operations at Giant Eagle. In 2003, he established the Giant Eagle Business Systems Group. Most recently he was serving as president of Poseidon Consultancy, which he founded in 2005.
