Former ConAgra exec heads to Dick’s, ConAgra fills empty slot
Dick's Sporting Goods has named former ConAgra executive Andre J. Hawaux as its new EVP of finance and administration and CFO. Hawaux will oversee Finance, Legal, Strategic Planning and Risk and Compliance. He succeeds Timothy Kullman, who is retiring, in June.
Hawaux has more than 30 years of experience, most recently as president of consumer foods at ConAgra, one of North America's leading packaged food companies. Previously, he served as ConAgra Foods' EVP and CFO and was responsible for the company's finance and information system and services organizations.
Prior to ConAgra Foods, Hawaux served as GM of a large U.S. division of PepsiAmericas and previously served as CFO for Pepsi-Cola North America and Pepsi International's China business unit. He has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Pace University and an M.B.A. from Southern New Hampshire University.

Dick's Sporting Goods is a full-line sporting goods retailer offering a broad assortment of brand name sporting goods equipment, apparel and footwear in a specialty store environment. The company also owns and operates Golf Galaxy, LLC, a golf specialty retailer. It operates 518 Dick’s Sporting Goods stores in 44 states, 81 Golf Galaxy stores in 30 states and e-commerce and catalog operations for both Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy.
Meanwhile at ConAgra, Tom McGough has been named president of consumer foods, replacing Hawaux.

He has shown strong leadership and results throughout his career, including his six years with us.”
McGough began his packaged foods career at H.J. Heinz in 1990. He joined ConAgra Foods in 2007 and was named president of grocery products in 2012. Grocery products is consumer foods’ largest area of business, including many leading shelf-stable and refrigerated brands. McGough also has significant experience with the frozen category, from his work at H.J. Heinz as well as ConAgra Foods. He has an M.B.A. from the Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
ConAgra’s brand portfolio includes Banquet, Chef Boyardee, Egg Beaters, Healthy Choice, Hebrew National, Hunt's, Marie Callender’s, Orville Redenbacher’s, PAM, Peter Pan, Reddi-wip, Slim Jim and Snack Pack, as well as food sold by ConAgra Foods under private brand labels, in grocery, convenience, mass merchandise, club stores and drugstores. ConAgra Foods also has a strong commercial foods presence, supplying frozen potato and sweet potato products as well as other vegetable, spice, bakery and grain products to a variety of well-known restaurants, foodservice operators and commercial customers.
