Eloquii, a fast-growing, plus-size women’s fashion apparel manufacturer and online-only player, has expanded its executive team with two experienced retailers.
The retailer named Michael Concannon as chief technology officer. He most recently served as CTO of Quidsi, an Amazon-owned e-commerce company where he oversaw long-term technical strategy and maintained technical leadership for the entire platform of six sites including diapers.com.
Concannon previously served as VP of ecommerce for Barnes & Noble from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, he served as VP of engineering for the direct-to-consumer services group at Sony Music Entertainment.
Eloquii also announced that Melissa Gellman Weiss has joined the company as chief marketing officer and executive VP direct-to-consumer. She spent the past two years as senior VP, head of marketing with J. Crew Group.
Prior to that, Weiss e led the brand marketing effort for the apparel, shoes and accessories divisions of Amazon.com. While at Amazon, Weiss led the marketing and international development initiative for subsidiary Shopbop.com.
Previously, Weiss spent seven years in marketing and business development at Fast Retailing USA,
