Fast casual chain Forever 21 has added men’s, girls and plus collections to 50 more stores as part of its global expansion plan.
Forever 21+, Forever 21 Men and Forever 21 Girls will now be added to 50 existing U.S. stores in markets such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New Orleans, Orlando, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Stamford, Conn., and more.
Since first opening its doors 30 years ago, Forever 21 has become a globally recognized brand. The company has been able to avoid the struggles of other youth-centered brands. It pulls in strong sales — $4.6 billion worth in 2014, according to Privco — and hasn't had to struggle with a brand identity like other teen retailers.
This latest move is part of the company’s goal to become an $8 billion company within the next two years and to have 600 stores around the world within the next three years. Forever 21 currently operates more than 680 stores in 45 countries.
